The TWECO 1036-1613 is the Spray Master 350A Compact Light MIG Gun, an air-cooled semiautomatic welding gun built for spray transfer and pulse welding applications. It features a thick-walled, three-layer conductor tube that improves electrical conductivity and acts as a heat sink to reduce front-end temperatures. The handle is compact and ergonomic, balanced to pivot at its center for comfortable use across multiple welding positions. A heavy-duty contact tip and diffuser assembly extends consumable life and reduces downtime during tip changes. This gun is rated at 350 amps with an 80 percent duty cycle using straight CO2 or mixed shielding gases. It is intended for installation and use by professional welders and fabricators in production, maintenance, and repair environments.
The 1036-1613 is suited for shop, production, farm, and maintenance and repair applications where spray transfer or pulse welding modes are required. The fully insulated Euro-Kwik drive style connection allows quick connect and disconnect at the wire feeder. Wire size compatibility starts at 1/16 inch. The gun accommodates standard trigger on/off operation and supports optional dual schedule and locking trigger configurations, identified by the LC suffix in the part number. The split-half handle case allows field repair without specialized tooling, and interchangeable front-end consumables are compatible with both Tweco Classic No. Series and Tweco Spray Master Series guns, reducing inventory carrying costs.
Front-end consumables are interchangeable with Tweco Classic No. Series and Tweco Spray Master Series guns. Accepts wire starting at 1/16 inch diameter. Compatible with straight CO2 and mixed shielding gases.
Installation and connection should be performed by a qualified welder or welding equipment technician familiar with GMAW equipment. Power down and de-energize the wire feeder and welding power source before connecting or disconnecting the gun at the feeder. Verify that the Euro-Kwik connection is fully seated and locked before initiating any weld. Follow the welding equipment manufacturer guidelines and applicable OSHA and AWS safety standards during setup and operation.
