The TWECO 1031-1643 is a 350-amp flux-cored MIG welding gun engineered for use with all gasless (self-shielded) flux-cored wires. Rated at 60% duty cycle when operating with CO2 gas, this gun is built for demanding continuous-use environments. The one-piece impact-resistant handle accepts the trigger at the top or bottom position, giving the operator flexibility in torch orientation. A micro-switch trigger design with a metal paddle-style lever controls wire feed start and stop. Spare trigger leads are routed inside the cable assembly, and the replaceable conduit keeps maintenance straightforward. Licensed welding professionals and fabrication shops will find this gun ready for production-level workloads.
The SEFC 350 is suited for heavy industrial and structural welding applications including shipbuilding, offshore yard work, steel industry fabrication, automotive repair, and general maintenance welding. Its heavy-duty front-end consumables are interchangeable with other leading flux-cored guns, making it a practical drop-in replacement on job sites where standardized consumable inventory is a priority. The gun handles wire diameters from 0.030 inches to 0.035 inches, covering the most common self-shielded flux-cored wire sizes used in structural and repair welding.
Designed for use with all self-shielded gasless flux-cored wires in the 0.030 inch to 0.035 inch diameter range. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with other leading flux-cored MIG guns of the same class.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welder or welding equipment technician. Power down and disconnect the wire feeder before changing the conduit, consumables, or trigger leads. Verify that the liner and contact tip match the wire diameter in use before energizing the system. Follow applicable AWS and facility safety standards for MIG and flux-cored welding equipment connections.
