The TWECO 1030-1602 is a heavy-duty 350-amp MIG gun built for flux-cored welding with gasless wire. Rated at 60% duty cycle using CO2 gas, it handles wire diameters from 0.035 to 0.045 inches through a 12-foot power cable engineered for abrasion and heat resistance. The one-piece impact-resistant handle accepts a metal paddle-style trigger lever and uses a micro-switch design for reliable start and stop wire feed control. Spare trigger leads are stored directly in the cable housing. Front-end consumables are heavy-duty and interchangeable with other leading flux-cored guns, reducing downtime during high-volume operations.
This gun is suited for demanding industrial environments where consistent arc performance and durable hardware are required. Typical applications include shipbuilding and offshore yards, steel fabrication, repair and maintenance shops, and automotive and general industrial fabrication. The Euro-Kwik connection style allows for quick changeover. The replaceable conduit and four trigger lead wires extend service life and simplify field maintenance, making this gun practical for professional welders working long shifts across a range of structural and manufacturing contexts.
Designed as a Euro-Kwik connected flux-cored MIG gun compatible with gasless wire processes and standard heavy-duty front-end consumables interchangeable with other leading flux-cored gun platforms.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified welding technician or industrial electrician. Disconnect and de-energize the wire feeder and power source before changing the conduit, trigger leads, or front-end consumables. Verify the Euro-Kwik connection is fully seated and locked before resuming operation. Follow applicable ANSI and AWS safety standards for MIG and flux-cored welding equipment.
