The TWECO 1030-1105 is a Professional No. 3 Classic Series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 300 amps with a 60% duty cycle using CO2 gas. It accommodates wire sizes from 0.035 to 0.045 inches and features a three-layer metal-jacketed conductor tube construction consisting of a copper tube, silicon-resin glass insulator, and outer metal jacket. The 25-foot power cable provides consistent wire feedability through a Tweco-style rear connection. The standard 60-degree conductor tube swivels 360 degrees around the handle and can be removed and replaced without disturbing the conduit. This gun is built for medium to heavy-duty fabrication environments and is serviced by licensed welding technicians in production, maintenance, and shop settings.
The TWECO 1030-1105 is suited for medium to heavy-duty MIG welding applications including production fabrication, maintenance and repair, farm and shop work, and general metal fabrication. The oval-shaped handle is balanced to pivot at its center, reducing operator fatigue across varied welding positions. The fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection allows quick connect and disconnect at the wire feeder, making it practical for high-turnover production environments. A steel spring strain relief at the rear of the handle minimizes wire feed issues at the cable exit point. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series, reducing inventory requirements for shops running multiple gun types.
The TWECO 1030-1105 uses Tweco-style rear connection and Mig-Kwik wire feeder connection. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and Tweco Professional No. Series guns.
Installation and service of MIG guns should be performed by a qualified welding technician familiar with the wire feeder and power source in use. Always power down the welding machine and relieve wire tension before connecting or disconnecting the gun at the feeder. Ensure the Mig-Kwik connection is fully seated and the conductor tube locking screws are secure before initiating a weld. Follow all applicable AWS and facility safety guidelines when working with welding equipment.
