The TWECO 1026-1136 is a water-cooled fume extraction MIG gun built on the Centrovac 420C platform, designed for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty welding applications. It draws fumes directly from the weld source, capturing over 95% of airborne particulates when paired with a compatible extraction system. Water cooling through the gun body allows front-end consumables to cool rapidly, extending consumable service life up to 3 to 5 times longer than comparable air-cooled guns. The gun accepts wire in the 0.039-inch to 0.0625-inch range and ships with a 10-foot cable assembly. Installation is performed by qualified welding equipment technicians.
The 1026-1136 is suited for demanding fabrication environments including shipyards, offshore platforms, tank and vessel fabrication shops, aerospace facilities, transportation manufacturing, and general industrial manufacturing. The back-end design adapts to most competitive wire feeders and power sources, making it a practical replacement or upgrade option in shops running mixed equipment. A vacuum vent at the front of the handle allows the operator to fine-tune extraction rates on the fly, which is especially useful in confined or tight weld zones where excessive gas extraction can affect shielding coverage.
Designed for use with most competitive wire feeders and power sources via the multi-connection back-end design. Wire diameter range is 0.039 inches to 0.0625 inches. Intended for applications including ship and offshore yards, tank and vessel fabrication, aerospace, transportation, and general manufacturing environments.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician. Disconnect and lock out all primary power to the welder and wire feeder before making or breaking gun connections. Verify that the extraction system flow rate is appropriate for the weld application before use, and use the front vacuum vent to balance extraction against shielding gas retention in confined areas.
