The TWECO 1026-1135 is a water-cooled fume extraction MIG gun designed for professional welding environments where airborne fume control is critical. Part of the Centrovac 420C series, it draws fumes directly from the weld source, removing over 95 percent of welding smoke when paired with a compatible extraction system. The 15-foot cable length provides reach for a wide range of workpiece sizes. A high-flow water-cooling circuit keeps front-end consumables cooler, extending their service life significantly compared to standard air-cooled guns. The gun accepts wire in the 0.039-inch to 0.0625-inch diameter range and is built for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty MIG welding applications.
This gun is suited for demanding industrial environments where welder health, visibility, and productivity are priorities. Typical deployment sites include shipyards, offshore fabrication facilities, tank and vessel shops, aerospace manufacturing, transportation assembly, and general manufacturing operations. The vacuum vent located at the front of the handle lets the operator fine-tune the extraction rate on the fly, which is especially useful when welding in confined areas where over-extraction of shielding gas is a concern. The back-end design adapts to most competitive wire feeders, making integration into existing setups straightforward.
Designed for use with competitive power sources and wire feeders through an adaptive back-end connection; accepts 0.039-inch to 0.0625-inch welding wire. Specific feeder compatibility should be confirmed with the extraction system manufacturer for optimal fume capture performance.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician or a trained welder familiar with MIG gun systems. Always power down the welding power source and wire feeder and relieve any water pressure in the cooling circuit before connecting or disconnecting the gun. Verify that water supply and return lines are properly secured and free of leaks before resuming operation. Consult the extraction system manufacturer to confirm that the vacuum unit is correctly sized for the weld application and environment.
