The TWECO 1026-1130 is an air-cooled fume extraction MIG gun built on the Centrovac 415C platform. It is designed to capture welding fumes directly at the weld source, removing the smoke cloud before it reaches the welder's breathing zone. Compatible with wire diameters from 0.035 inches to 1/16 inch and fitted with a Euro-style back-end connection, this gun serves light-, medium-, and heavy-duty MIG welding operations. A 15-foot cable length gives operators working room without sacrificing control. Licensed welders and fabricators install and operate this equipment in production and fabrication environments.
The 1026-1130 is suited for demanding industrial applications where fume control is a regulatory or safety priority. Typical environments include shipyards, offshore fabrication, aerospace assembly, transportation manufacturing, tank and vessel fabrication, and general manufacturing. The Euro connection at the back end adapts to most competitive wire feeders, making this gun a practical fit across a variety of existing welding setups without requiring dedicated proprietary equipment.
The Euro-style back-end connection adapts to most competitive wire feeders. Accepts wire diameters from 0.035 inches to 1/16 inch. Designed for use with a compatible external fume extraction system.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welder or welding equipment technician. Disconnect and de-energize the welding power source before connecting or disconnecting the gun at the feeder. Verify that the extraction system flow rate is appropriate for the weld application before use, and use the front-handle vacuum vent to fine-tune extraction without compromising shielding gas coverage. Follow applicable workplace safety regulations and ventilation standards for welding fume control.
