The TWECO 1026-1120 is an air-cooled fume extraction MIG gun designed to remove welding fumes at the source before they reach the welder's breathing zone. Built around the Centrovac 415C platform, it handles light-, medium-, and heavy-duty MIG welding applications with wire diameters from 0.035 inches up to 1/16 inch. The gun is rated for a 10-foot cable length and features a knuckle joint configuration that delivers articulate motion without adding fatigue. A vacuum vent at the front of the handle lets the operator adjust extraction rates on the fly, reducing the risk of pulling too much shielding gas in confined or tight weld areas.
The 1026-1120 is suited for demanding industrial environments including shipbuilding and offshore fabrication, tank and vessel construction, aerospace assembly, transportation manufacturing, and general fabrication shops. The back-end connection design adapts to most competitive wire feeders, making it a practical retrofit on existing equipment. By clearing the smoke cloud at the weld source, the gun increases welder visibility and helps maintain production uptime in facilities where air quality compliance and worker health are priorities.
Designed for use with most competitive wire feeders via the multi-connection back-end design. Accepts wire diameters from 0.035 inches to 1/16 inch. Intended for use with an appropriately matched external fume extraction system.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician. Before connecting or disconnecting the gun, shut down the wire feeder and disconnect power at the welding power source. Verify that the back-end connection is fully seated and locked before operating to prevent fume ingress at the power connection. Route the extraction hose to the connected vacuum unit according to the extraction system manufacturer's guidelines and confirm extraction flow before beginning the weld.
