The TWECO 1026-1116 is an air-cooled fume extraction MIG gun in the Centrovac 260C series, designed to capture welding fumes directly at the weld source. It accepts wire diameters from 0.024 to 0.039 inches and comes with a 15 ft cable assembly terminated in a Euro connection. The gun is built for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty MIG welding applications where fume control is a compliance or productivity requirement. A licensed welding technician or certified fabricator installs and operates this equipment. When paired with a compatible extraction system, the 260C design can remove over 95% of weld fumes generated at the arc.
This gun is suited for professional welding environments where fume exposure is a primary concern, including shipyards, offshore fabrication facilities, aerospace manufacturing, tank and vessel fabrication, transportation manufacturing, and general industrial fabrication shops. The Euro back-end connection adapts to most competitive wire feeders, making it a practical retrofit option in facilities already running Euro-compatible equipment. The 15 ft cable length gives the operator reasonable reach in fixed or semi-fixed weld stations.
Features a Euro back-end connection that adapts to most competitive wire feeders. Designed for use with a compatible fume extraction system; extraction performance is dependent on matching the correct extraction unit to the weld application.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welding technician familiar with MIG equipment and fume extraction systems. Disconnect and lock out the wire feeder and welding power source before connecting or inspecting the gun assembly. Verify that the Euro connection is fully seated and the extraction hose is properly routed and secured before initiating the arc. Consult applicable workplace safety regulations and the equipment manufacturer's guidelines for fume extraction system configuration.
