The TWECO 1026-1111 is an air-cooled fume extraction MIG gun engineered to capture welding fumes directly at the weld source. Part of the Centrovac 260C series, it is built for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty MIG welding applications. The gun accepts wire in the 0.024 to 0.039 inch diameter range and comes with a 10-foot cable assembly. A knuckle joint configuration at the neck delivers excellent articulation, reducing operator fatigue during extended welds. Licensed welding professionals and fabricators install and operate this gun in production environments where fume control is required by safety programs or regulatory standards.
The 1026-1111 is suited for demanding fabrication environments including shipyards, offshore yards, tank and vessel fabrication shops, aerospace manufacturing, transportation fabrication, and general manufacturing facilities. The back-end design adapts to most competitive wire feeders, making it a practical replacement or upgrade in shops running mixed equipment. A vacuum vent at the front of the handle lets the operator adjust extraction rate on the fly, which is especially useful in tight or confined weld areas where over-extraction of shielding gas is a concern.
Designed for use with compatible fume extraction systems in light-, medium-, and heavy-duty MIG welding applications. The back-end design adapts to most competitive wire feeders. Consult TWECO documentation for confirmed feeder and extraction unit pairings before installation.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welding professional familiar with MIG gun connections and wire feeder configurations. Power down and de-energize the wire feeder and welding power source before connecting or disconnecting the gun. Verify that the extraction hose connection is secure and that the extraction unit is rated appropriately for the weld application before operating. Follow applicable OSHA ventilation standards and the manufacturer guidelines for the matched extraction system.
