The TWECO 1026-1108 is an air-cooled fume extraction MIG gun designed to capture welding fumes directly at the weld source. Part of the Centrovac 260C series, it handles light-, medium-, and heavy-duty MIG welding applications and accommodates wire diameters from 0.024 to 0.039 inches. The integrated fume extraction design removes the smoke cloud produced during the weld process, improving the welder's line of sight and reducing exposure to airborne contaminants. Licensed welding professionals and fabrication shops install this gun as a direct productivity and safety upgrade on wire feeder setups.
This gun is suited for demanding fabrication environments including shipbuilding and offshore yards, tank and vessel fabrication, aerospace manufacturing, transportation, and general manufacturing. At 10 feet in length, it gives the operator adequate reach across typical fixture and table setups. The back-end design adapts to most competitive wire feeders, making it a practical replacement or upgrade option across a wide range of existing installations.
Designed for use with most competitive wire feeders; back-end connection configuration supports a wide range of MIG welding power sources used in light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fabrication applications.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welding technician or maintenance professional familiar with MIG welding equipment. Power down the welding system and release all stored energy before connecting or disconnecting the gun from the wire feeder. Verify that the extraction hose and vacuum system are properly sized and rated for the application before commissioning. Follow all applicable OSHA ventilation and fume control guidelines for the work environment.
