The TWECO 1023-1277 is an air-cooled MIG gun rated at 250 amps with a 60 percent duty cycle, designed for GMAW, FCAW, and aluminum GMAW applications. Part of the VELOCITY2a Spray Master V250 series, it features a Tweco Style Connector and ships with VELOCITY2 front-end consumables pre-assembled. The gun runs a 15 ft cable length and is built for light to medium-duty fabrication environments. Gas Ported Velocity Contact Tips are integrated into the design to reduce heat buildup and extend consumable life. The threadless tip design allows tool-free changes, reducing downtime during production runs.
This MIG gun is suited for fabrication shops, light manufacturing, and job-site welding where GMAW or FCAW processes are required. The 250-amp output and 60 percent duty cycle make it appropriate for sustained moderate-production welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum wire. The Tweco Style Connector provides broad compatibility with existing Tweco-style wire feeders and power sources. The 15 ft cable length gives the operator adequate reach across typical welding stations without excess weight. Standard Conductor Tube 1240-1374 and a 42 Series conduit liner are included, supporting wire diameters from 0.035 to 0.045 inches.

Installation should be performed by a qualified welding technician or electrician familiar with GMAW equipment. Power down the welder and disconnect from the power source before connecting or servicing the gun and liner. Verify that the conductor tube is fully seated and the liner trimmed to the correct length per the feeder manufacturer guidelines before striking an arc. Follow applicable AWS and NFPA 70E safety practices when working with welding equipment.
