The TWECO 1023-1136 is a Spray Master Series MIG welding gun rated at 250 amps with an 80% duty cycle using mixed argon and CO2 gases. It accepts wire diameters from 0.035 to 0.045 inches and features a 12-foot power cable with a Lincoln-style rear connection for direct plug-in installation. The air-cooled gun is built for spray transfer and pulse welding applications. A thick-walled, three-layer conductor tube improves electrical conductivity and acts as a heat sink, keeping handle temperatures lower during extended operation. The ergonomic, balanced handle pivots at its center to reduce operator fatigue across welding positions. Licensed HVAC, welding, and mechanical trades install this gun in production and maintenance environments.
The 1023-1136 is suited for a wide range of welding scenarios including fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, farm and garage work, artistic metalworking, and light production runs. The Lincoln-style rear connection makes it a direct fit replacement or upgrade in setups already running Lincoln wire feeders. The simplified rear plug reduces installation time and minimizes wire feed issues. The gun supports straight CO2 as well as mixed shielding gases, giving welders flexibility across spray transfer and pulse modes.
Features a Lincoln-style rear connection for use with Lincoln wire feeder systems. Front end consumables are interchangeable with Tweco Classic No. Series and Tweco Spray Master Series guns. Optional locking trigger configuration is identified by the LC suffix on the part number.
Installation is performed by qualified welding technicians or industrial maintenance personnel. Power down and de-energize the wire feeder before connecting or disconnecting the gun. Use the simplified direct rear plug connection and verify the Lincoln-style connector is fully seated before operation. Inspect the cable, strain relief, and consumables for wear before returning the gun to service.
