The TWECO 1023-1126 is an air-cooled MIG welding gun from the Spray Master Series, rated at 250 amps and designed for spray transfer and pulse welding applications. It accepts wire diameters from 0.035 to 0.045 inches and delivers an 80% duty cycle when used with argon/CO2 mixed gases. The 12-foot cable integrates a standard 60-degree conductor tube that swivels 360 degrees around the handle, allowing rapid removal and replacement without disturbing the conduit. A rear Euro-Kwik connection with a fully insulated Mig-Kwik fitting enables fast connect and disconnect at the wire feeder. The split-half handle case allows full field repair access, reducing downtime on production floors and in shop environments.
The 1023-1126 is suited for professional welding in fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, and production environments running spray or pulse transfer processes with straight CO2 or mixed shielding gases. The ergonomic handle is balanced to pivot at the center, minimizing operator fatigue during extended use in varied welding positions. Front and rear spring strain relief supports the cable at both ends to reduce wire feed issues. The extended trigger design keeps the operator hand farther from the arc, lowering exposure to radiated heat. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with Tweco Classic No. Series guns, which reduces the number of spare parts that need to be stocked.
Designed for use with wire feeders equipped with a Euro-Kwik connection; front-end consumables are interchangeable with Tweco Classic No. Series and Tweco Spray Master Series guns.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified welding technician or electrician familiar with MIG welding equipment. Power down and de-energize the wire feeder before connecting or disconnecting the gun at the rear fitting. Confirm the conductor tube angle and swivel position before securing the cable to avoid kinking. Follow applicable NFPA and equipment manufacturer guidelines for safe MIG gun installation and operation.
