The TWECO 1023-1111 is a Spray Master Series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 250 amps with an 80% duty cycle using argon/CO2 mixed gases. It accommodates wire sizes from 0.035 to 0.045 inches and ships with 12 feet of cable. The gun features a thick-walled, three-layer conductor tube that improves electrical conductivity and acts as a heat sink to reduce front-end temperatures. A rear Miller-style Mig-Kwik connection allows the operator to connect or disconnect at the wire feeder without tools. The standard 60-degree conductor tube swivels 360 degrees around the handle and can be removed and replaced quickly without pulling the conduit. Designed for spray transfer and pulse welding with straight CO2 or mixed gases.
This gun is suited for production welding, maintenance and repair, fabrication shops, and farm or garage environments where a durable, field-repairable MIG gun is required. The ergonomic handle is balanced to pivot at the center, reducing operator fatigue during extended welding sessions. The extended trigger keeps the operator's hand farther from the arc, limiting radiated heat exposure. Front and rear spring strain relief supports the cable at both ends to minimize wire feed problems. The split-half handle case allows field repair without specialized tooling, making it practical for service techs working on-site or in shops without a dedicated repair bench.
Features a rear Miller-style connection for use with Miller wire feeders. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Classic No. Series and Tweco Spray Master Series guns.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified welding technician familiar with MIG gun assemblies. Disconnect and de-energize the wire feeder before connecting or changing the gun. Verify the rear plug connection is fully seated and the Mig-Kwik collar is locked before initiating a weld. Inspect cable, strain relief, and conductor tube for damage prior to each use in accordance with applicable AWS and shop safety guidelines.
