The TWECO 1020-1125 is a professional-grade, air-cooled MIG gun rated at 200 amps and designed for semi-automatic MIG welding in medium fabrication environments. Part of the Tweco No. 2 Series, this gun accommodates wire sizes from 0.040 to 0.045 inches and ships with a 25-foot lead cable featuring a Miller-style rear connection. The 60-degree metal jacket conductor tube swivels a full 360 degrees around the handle and is built with three-layer construction for durability. Rated at a 60% duty cycle with CO2 gas, the gun is fully tested before leaving the factory. A silver-plated trigger with self-cleaning action, steel spring strain relief, and a Mig-Kwik fully insulated quick-connect at the wire feeder round out the core design.
The 1020-1125 is suited for a broad range of applications including shop fabrication, maintenance and repair, farm and garage use, and production welding. Its oval-shaped, crush-resistant handle is balanced to pivot at the center, reducing operator fatigue during extended use across varied welding positions. The gun hanger at the bottom of the handle allows for safe resting when not in active use. Two ball-point screws secure the Cablehoz and conductor tube within the handle, maintaining a solid current path to the contact tip. The enhanced direct-plug capability and quick-connect Mig-Kwik fitting at the feeder make changeovers and repairs straightforward for professional welders.
Designed as a Miller-style rear-connection MIG gun replacement suitable for wire feeders accepting that standard interface; a wide selection of front-end consumables is available to match specific application requirements.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding technician familiar with MIG equipment. Disconnect and de-energize the wire feeder before attaching or removing the gun connection. Ensure the Cablehoz is fully seated and both ball-point screws are tightened before resuming operation. Verify that all connections comply with applicable electrical and welding safety codes before use.
