The TWECO 1020-1114 is a Professional No. 2 Series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 200 amps with a 60 percent duty cycle using CO2 gas. It accepts wire sizes from 0.030 to 0.035 inches and comes with a 20-foot lead cable featuring a Tweco-style rear connection for reliable wire feedability. The oval-shaped handle is constructed from a high-impact, crush-resistant plastic compound. A silver-plated trigger provides a self-cleaning action each time it is engaged or disengaged. The 60-degree metal jacket conductor tube rotates a full 360 degrees around the handle for flexible positioning. Fully tested prior to shipment, this gun is a recognized industry standard suited for professional welding technicians and trade fabricators.
The 1020-1114 is designed for semi-automatic MIG welding in medium fabrication environments. Typical applications include shop production work, maintenance and repair, farm and garage welding, and light industrial jobs. The Mig-Kwik fully insulated connection allows fast hookup and disconnection at the wire feeder, reducing downtime during equipment changes. The gun is balanced to pivot at the center of the handle, which reduces operator fatigue during extended use across varied welding positions. A gun hanger at the bottom of the handle provides a convenient resting point when the gun is not in active use.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and industry-standard MIG gun compatible with Tweco-style wire feeders requiring a rear-connection, 200A air-cooled gun with Mig-Kwik front-end interface.
Installation and service of MIG welding equipment should be performed by a qualified welding technician or electrician familiar with applicable AWS and NFPA 70 guidelines. Disconnect and de-energize the wire feeder and welding power source before attaching or removing the gun lead. Verify the rear connection is fully seated and the Mig-Kwik connector is locked before resuming operation. Inspect the conductor tube, contact tip, and cable assembly for wear at regular service intervals.
