The TWECO 1010-1131 is a Professional No. 1 Classic Series MIG gun rated at 180 amps, designed for semi-automatic MIG welding in light-duty fabrication and maintenance applications. It accepts wire diameters of 0.030 to 0.035 inches and ships with a 10-foot lead cable featuring a Miller-style rear connection. The gun operates at a 60% duty cycle using CO2 shielding gas and is fully tested before leaving the factory. A 60-degree neoprene-insulated quick-change conductor tube swivels 360 degrees around the handle, and a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection allows fast hookup and disconnect at the wire feeder. Air-cooled construction keeps the package lightweight at 7.25 pounds.
This gun targets welding professionals and experienced DIYers working in farm shops, garages, job shops, and maintenance and repair environments. The Miller-style rear connection makes it a direct fit for Miller wire feeders without modification, though an adapter plug is required for other feeder configurations. The 10-foot cable provides manageable reach for bench work and in-field repairs. Applications include light fabrication, artistic metalworking, and general production welding where a compact, field-repairable gun reduces downtime.
Designed for use with Miller-style wire feeders via the integrated Miller-style rear connection. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and Tweco Professional No. series guns, reducing inventory requirements.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welding technician or trained operator familiar with MIG equipment. Shut down and disconnect the wire feeder from power before connecting or disconnecting the gun cable. Verify that the rear connection style matches the wire feeder before installation, as an adapter plug may be required for non-Miller feeder configurations. Inspect the conductor tube, Cablehoz, and cable liner for wear before placing the gun in service.
