The TWECO 1010-1114 is a Professional No. 1 Classic Series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 180 amps with a 60% duty cycle using CO2 gas. It accepts wire diameters from 0.030 to 0.035 inches and ships with a 20-foot lead cable featuring a Tweco-style rear connection. The oval-shaped handle is constructed from high-impact, crush-resistant plastic and is balanced to pivot at the center, reducing operator fatigue during extended use. A 60-degree neoprene-insulated conductor tube swivels a full 360 degrees for positioning flexibility. Licensed welders and fabrication professionals install this gun for semi-automatic MIG welding across light-duty and production environments.
This gun is designed for a wide range of semi-automatic welding applications including light fabrication, farm and ranch repair, garage and shop work, job shop production, maintenance and repair, and artistic metalworking. The 20-foot lead cable provides good wire feedability across these environments. The fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection allows fast hookup and disconnection at the wire feeder, making it well suited for shops that swap guns between machines. The steel spring strain relief at the rear of the handle minimizes wire feed issues where the Cablehoz exits the handle.
Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and the Tweco Professional No. series, reducing inventory requirements for shops running multiple guns in these families.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding professional or trained technician. Before connecting or disconnecting the gun, shut down the wire feeder and ensure the welding machine is powered off. Verify that the rear connection style matches the feeder output before installation, as an adapter plug may be required. Follow all applicable ANSI and AWS safety standards for MIG welding equipment setup and operation.
