The TWECO 1010-1113 is a Professional No. 1 Classic Series MIG gun rated at 180 amps with a 15-foot lead cable, designed for semi-automatic MIG welding in light-duty fabrication and industrial maintenance environments. It accommodates wire diameters from 0.030 to 0.035 inches and delivers a 60% duty cycle when used with CO2 shielding gas. The air-cooled gun features a three-layer conductor tube construction — copper tube, silicon-resin glass insulator, and metal jacket — for reliable current transfer and durability. A Tweco-style rear connection and fully insulated Mig-Kwik connector allow fast hookup and disconnection at the wire feeder. Licensed welding technicians and fabricators are the primary installers and users of this gun.
The 1010-1113 is suited for a wide range of applications including shop fabrication, maintenance and repair, production welding, and light industrial use. The 15-foot cable offers good wire feedability in typical shop layouts. The 60-degree neoprene-insulated quick-change conductor tube swivels 360 degrees around the handle, allowing the operator to reposition without rerouting the cable. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and Tweco Professional No. series, reducing the variety of replacement parts that need to be stocked.
Front-end consumables are interchangeable between the Tweco Spray Master series and Tweco Professional No. series. Note: this gun requires an adapter plug for wire feeder connection.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welding technician familiar with MIG welding equipment. Disconnect power to the wire feeder and relieve any gas pressure before connecting or disconnecting the gun. Verify that the wire feeder outlet and gun rear connector are compatible before use; an adapter plug may be required. Inspect the conductor tube, Cablehoz, and all insulation for wear or damage before placing the gun into service.
