The TWECO 1010-1112 is a Professional No. 1 Classic Series MIG gun rated at 180 amps and designed for semi-automatic welding. The air-cooled gun ships with a 12-foot lead cable and accepts wire diameters from 0.030 to 0.035 inches. It operates at a 60% duty cycle using CO2 shielding gas. The oval-shaped handle is constructed from a high-impact, crush-resistant plastic compound and is balanced to pivot at its center, reducing grip fatigue during extended use. A 60-degree neoprene-insulated conductor tube rotates a full 360 degrees around the handle for flexible positioning. The Mig-Kwik connection at the rear enables fast hookup and disconnection at the wire feeder without additional connectors.
The 1010-1112 is suited for light-duty fabrication, maintenance and repair, farm and shop work, and production welding environments. The Tweco-style rear connection and enhanced direct plug design make it compatible with common wire feeder setups used in these settings. The split-half handle case allows field repair of the Cablehoz without removing additional connectors, making it a practical choice for shops that need to minimize downtime. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and the Tweco Professional No. series, which reduces the number of replacement parts that need to be stocked.
Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and the Tweco Professional No. series. The Tweco-style rear connection and Mig-Kwik interface are designed to work with standard wire feeder setups that accept this connection type.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified welding technician or maintenance professional. Disconnect and de-energize the wire feeder and power source completely before connecting or disconnecting the gun. Confirm shielding gas lines are shut off before servicing the conductor tube or consumables. Follow all applicable AWS and manufacturer safety guidelines when routing and securing the lead cable to prevent kinking or abrasion.
