The TWECO 1010-1111 is a Professional No. 1 Classic Series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 180 amps with a 60% duty cycle using CO2 gas. It accepts wire sizes from 0.030 to 0.035 inches and ships with a 10-foot lead cable featuring a Tweco-style rear connection. The oval-shaped handle is constructed from a high-impact, crush-resistant plastic compound. A 60-degree neoprene-insulated conductor tube rotates a full 360 degrees around the handle for repositioning during welds. The gun is balanced to pivot at the center of the handle, reducing grip fatigue over long shifts. Licensed HVAC, welding, and fabrication professionals are the primary installers of this equipment.
The 1010-1111 is suited for semi-automatic MIG welding in light-duty fabrication, maintenance and repair, farm and shop environments, production work, and artistic metalworking. The fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection allows fast connect and disconnect at the wire feeder without additional connectors. The steel spring strain relief supports the Cablehoz exiting the rear of the handle to minimize wire feed problems. Two ball-point screws secure the Cablehoz and conductor tube in place. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and Tweco Professional No. series, which lowers inventory requirements for shops running multiple guns.
Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and Tweco Professional No. series guns. Requires an adapter plug for wire feeder connection.
Installation and service should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician or experienced fabricator. Disconnect and de-energize the wire feeder and welding power source completely before connecting or servicing the gun. Inspect the lead cable, Cablehoz, and conductor tube for damage before placing the gun into service. Follow the equipment manufacturer guidelines and applicable workplace safety standards when routing the lead cable to avoid pinch points or sharp bends that could restrict wire feedability.
