The TUTHILL CORP FR610H is a 115-volt fuel transfer pump rated at 15 GPM, built for contractor-grade field use in petroleum transfer applications. The pump features an explosion-proof motor with a permanent magnet design, making it suited for flammable fluid environments where ignition risk must be controlled. A rotatable wiring junction box simplifies field wiring orientation. The steel suction pipe telescopes from 22 inches to 40 inches, allowing the pump to reach fluid at varying depths. A built-in check valve and strainer are integrated into the assembly, reducing the need for additional inline components. The unit weighs 32 pounds and is UL Listed.
The FR610H is designed for transfer of petroleum-based fuels from 55-gallon drums in commercial, industrial, and contractor jobsite settings. The pump mounts directly to a standard 55-gallon drum bung opening. The discharge hose includes a static ground wire and thermal overload protection, both standard requirements when handling flammable liquids in work environments. The pad-lockable design allows the unit to remain secured on the drum between uses, which is a practical consideration for shared job sites or fleet maintenance yards.
Designed for mounting to standard 55-gallon drums used in petroleum fuel transfer applications. Intended for use with gasoline, diesel, and other compatible petroleum-based fluids in contractor and industrial settings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with flammable liquid transfer equipment and applicable NFPA codes governing fuel handling. Ensure the power source is de-energized before making any wiring connections at the junction box. The static ground wire on the discharge hose must be properly bonded to prevent static discharge during fuel transfer. Do not use this pump with fluids outside its rated compatibility range.
