The TURBO TORCH TURBO-0386-0836 is a complete air acetylene torch kit built for high-capacity HVAC brazing and soldering applications. The kit uses Extreme Swirl Technology to concentrate heat rapidly at the joint, cutting down brazing time and reducing overall fuel consumption. It ships as a ready-to-work assembly that includes a regulator, handle, hose, and tip. The rear-valve configuration gives technicians close-quarters control while the quick-disconnect handle and tip system speeds up tip changes on the job. Replaceable tips and color-coded O-rings help techs identify gas connections and swap components without confusion. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers are the primary installers.
This kit is suited for high-capacity HVAC service work, mechanical room piping, and refrigeration line-set installations where both soft soldering and silver brazing are required in the same workflow. The included PL-8A tip handles soft soldering on tubing up to 4 inches and silver brazing on tubing up to 2 inches, covering the majority of residential and light commercial HVAC copper work. The AR-B regulator connects to a standard B-tank via a CGA 520 fitting. Gauge guards and a cylinder wrench are included to protect the regulator in field and shop environments.
Connects to standard B-tanks via CGA 520 fitting. Designed for use with acetylene fuel gas in air acetylene torch systems. Compatible with TURBO TORCH replacement tips designed for the PL-series tip configuration.
Installation and operation of air acetylene torch equipment should be performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified plumbers familiar with fuel-gas safety procedures. Always shut off the cylinder valve and bleed the hose before disconnecting any fitting. Inspect hoses, O-rings, and connections for wear or leaks before each use and never use an open flame to test for leaks. Follow all applicable codes including NFPA 51B for torch use in brazing and cutting operations.
