The TURBO TORCH TURBO-0386-0578 is a complete air-acetylene torch kit outfit designed for professional HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration technicians who need a portable, field-ready brazing and soldering setup. The kit is built around a G4 torch handle paired with an AR-B regulator featuring a CGA 520 tank connection and an AH-12 hose. Two tips are included — a PL-8A and an A-3 — covering a range of common soldering and brazing applications. Everything ships loaded into a roller tote case with metal framework construction and integrated storage pockets sized for the torch components and accessories.
This outfit is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing work where air-acetylene is the preferred fuel source. Typical applications include sweat-soldering copper refrigerant lines, soft brazing fittings, and general torch work on tubing up to the capacity of the included tips. The roller tote is designed for job-site transport and features an adjustable security strap for securing the tank assembly in a service vehicle. A tank key is also included for cylinder valve operation in the field.
Designed for use with standard B-tank acetylene cylinders using a CGA 520 valve connection. Tip and handle components are part of the TurboTorch air-acetylene system.
Air-acetylene torch kits are typically set up and serviced by licensed HVAC technicians and journeyman plumbers. Before connecting the regulator to the cylinder, confirm the CGA 520 fitting is clean and free of debris. Always open the cylinder valve slowly and verify regulator and hose connections for leaks before igniting the torch. Follow applicable mechanical and fuel-gas codes — including IFGC guidelines — when using open-flame equipment in occupied or confined spaces.
