The TUNGALOY 6825573 is a DNMG431SM-series indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide and finished with a multilayer PVD coating combining TiAlN and TiCN. Designated grade AH6225, it features a 55-degree diamond shape, a neutral hand orientation, and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style. The insert carries a negative rake angle of -10 degrees and provides four usable cutting edges per insert. With a 0.5-inch inscribed circle and a 0.016-inch corner radius, it is sized for medium-duty material removal in both roughing and finishing passes. Licensed machinists and CNC turning specialists install this insert in compatible toolholders on lathes and machining centers.
