The TUNGALOY 6805034 is a Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride (PCBN) turning insert in the CCGW060204 geometry with a BXM20 grade and PVD-applied TiCN coating. Designed for the TurnLine 2QP-CCM/GW series, it features an 80-degree diamond insert shape, a 0.4 mm corner radius, and a flat-top chip breaker with a honed cutting edge. The insert carries a positive rake angle and a 7-degree relief angle, making it well suited for precision material removal on hard workpiece materials. Two cutting edges are available per insert. Licensed machinists and CNC turning specialists install this insert in screw-held toolholders on CNC lathes and turning centers.

This insert is intended for hard material turning applications, including interrupted and continuous cuts on hardened steels and similar difficult-to-machine materials. Rated for turning, facing, and boring operations, it supports a maximum depth of cut of 0.50 mm. Its PCBN substrate with TiCN PVD coating delivers thermal stability and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds typical of hard-part turning. Installation Notes
