The TUNGALOY 6801840 is a ceramic turning insert in the CNGA433 LX11 grade, designed for precision material removal on hard workpiece materials. Manufactured from Alumina TiC ceramic and finished with a PVD-applied TiN coating, this insert delivers thermal resistance and edge stability during interrupted and continuous cuts. The 80-degree diamond shape with a negative rake angle provides a strong cutting geometry suited to finishing and semi-finishing operations.
