The TUNGALOY 6775778 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CPMT-PS series, designated CPMT21.50.5PS with grade AH8005. It features a PVD-applied TiAlN coating that provides thermal and wear resistance for demanding cutting operations. The insert has an 80-degree diamond shape, a neutral hand orientation, a 0.25-inch inscribed circle, and a corner radius of approximately 0.008 inches. It is held in place by a screw-type clamping system and is designed for use in CNC and manual turning operations. Licensed machinists, CNC setup technicians, and tooling specialists work with this insert in production and job-shop environments.

This insert is engineered for turning, facing, and boring applications.
