The TUNGALOY 6771249 is a replaceable drill tip in the DMP series, designed for use with compatible indexable drill bodies in general holemaking operations. Manufactured from solid carbide with manufacturer grade AH9130 and a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this tip delivers wear resistance across a broad range of workpiece materials. The 140-degree included drill point angle and regular helical flute geometry support controlled chip evacuation and consistent entry geometry. The tip is secured via clamp-style insert holding and weighs approximately 0.09 pounds. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians are the typical end users for this type of replaceable tip system.

This drill tip is suited for general drilling and holemaking applications in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium - corresponding to ISO material grades P15, P35, M25, M35, K10, K25, S15, and S30.
