The TRU-MAXX TUAAFCC80N is a rectangular silicon carbide dressing stick used to true, dress, and open the faces of grinding wheels. Dressing sticks restore wheel geometry, remove glazing, and expose fresh abrasive grain so the wheel cuts efficiently. This stick is manufactured with an 80-grit silicon carbide abrasive in a vitrified bond at a semi-hard grade. The vitrified bond provides rigidity and controlled wear, making it well suited for precision dressing work. At 6 inches long with a 1-inch by 1-inch cross section, it offers a solid grip and enough mass for extended service life. Grinding wheel maintenance technicians, tool room operators, and machine shop personnel are the primary users.
