The TRU-MAXX SZQCM60 is a threaded-mount flap wheel designed for surface blending, deburring, and finishing on metal and similar materials. It measures 1-3/8 inches in outside diameter with a 5/8-inch face width, making it well suited for work in confined areas and detailed contours. The abrasive is aluminum oxide coated, rated at medium grade (60 grit), and the wheel is rated to a maximum of 30,000 RPM. Machinists, fabricators, and metalworking technicians install this type of wheel on die grinders and rotary tools for precision surface work where a rigid grinding wheel cannot reach.
This mounted flap wheel is used in light industrial and fabrication settings for internal bore finishing, chamfering, and weld blending in tight geometries. The threaded mount allows direct attachment to compatible die grinders and rotary tool spindles without additional adapters. At 60 grit medium grade, it removes material at a moderate rate while leaving a reasonably smooth surface. It is packaged as a single unit and is appropriate for both shop and field use by metalworkers and maintenance technicians.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a threaded-mount flap wheel of 1-3/8 inch diameter. Verify spindle thread compatibility before installation.
This wheel is installed by a machinist or metalworking technician on a compatible die grinder or rotary tool. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the wheel. Do not exceed the 30,000 RPM maximum speed rating. Inspect the wheel for damage before each use and discard any wheel that shows fraying, uneven wear, or physical damage.
