The TRU-MAXX RESIN-15 is a Type 11V9 cup-style diamond grinding wheel designed for precision tool grinding and reconditioning applications. Built with Armored Synthetic Diamond (ASD) abrasive at 150 grit Very Fine grade, it delivers controlled stock removal and fine surface finishing on carbide tooling, ceramics, and hard materials. The resinoid bond matrix supports both wet and dry operation, giving technicians flexibility depending on shop setup. At 3-3/4 inches in diameter and 1-1/2 inches overall thickness, this wheel mounts on standard bench grinders and tool-and-cutter grinders. It weighs 1 pound. The 70-degree face angle and 1/16-inch superabrasive depth are configured for controlled edge work on precision cutting tools.
This wheel is suited for tool rooms, production grinding cells, and maintenance shops where carbide or hard-material tooling requires resharpening or profiling. Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or grinding machine operator with the grinder fully de-energized and locked out before mounting. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before installation and never exceed the maximum RPM rating marked on the wheel or machine. Ensure the arbor flange and blotter are properly seated before tightening. When operating wet, confirm coolant lines are clear and flow is established before engaging the wheel against the workpiece.
