The TRU-MAXX FDT A080-125 is a 5-inch aluminum oxide fiber disc designed for aggressive material removal and surface conditioning on metal, wood, and composites. Built on a resinoid-bonded fiber backing, this disc delivers consistent 80-grit cut rate across its full service life. The maroon-colored disc mounts via a 7/8-inch arbor hole and is rated to a maximum of 12,250 RPM, making it compatible with standard right-angle grinders used in fabrication, maintenance, and finishing work. It is installed by metalworkers, welders, and general maintenance technicians.

This disc is suited for medium-grade stock removal and weld blending on ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as general surface prep tasks. The coated aluminum oxide abrasive provides a balanced combination of cut rate and finish quality appropriate for production grinding environments.
