The TRU-MAXX FDT A024-180 is a 7-inch aluminum oxide fiber disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal, weld seams, and rough surfaces. It runs at a maximum of 8,500 RPM and uses a resinoid bond to hold the 24-grit abrasive grain firmly to the fiber backing. The arbor hole measures 7/8 inches, fitting standard backup pads used in angle grinders and disc grinders. Very coarse grade aluminum oxide cuts fast on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, making this disc a practical choice for heavy stock removal and weld blending before finer finishing steps.

This disc is suited for metal fabrication shops, structural steel work, and general industrial grinding applications.
