The TRU-MAXX FDT A024-115 is a 4-1/2 inch aluminum oxide fiber disc designed for aggressive stock removal on metal surfaces. It runs at up to 13,300 RPM and features a resinoid bond that holds the abrasive grain firmly under load. The 24-grit, extra coarse rating makes it well suited for rapid material removal, weld grinding, and surface conditioning where speed matters more than finish. The fiber backing provides rigidity and resistance to flexing during heavy-pressure applications. This disc is used with a right-angle grinder fitted with a backing pad and is installed via a standard 7/8 inch arbor hole.

This disc is intended for use in fabrication shops, maintenance environments, and field metalwork where fast, coarse grinding is required. Typical applications include removing weld beads, cleaning up rough cuts, and deburring heavy plate stock.
