The TRU-MAXX 69957323757 is a 2-inch quick-change abrasive disc designed for high-speed grinding, blending, and surface preparation on metal and fabricated components. Built with a zirconia alumina abrasive grain bonded to a cloth backing, this disc delivers consistent cut rate and durability across ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The Type R attaching system allows fast one-motion mounting and removal without tools. Rated to 20,000 RPM, it suits angle grinders and die grinders equipped with a compatible Type R mandrel. At 120 grit, it falls in the fine grade range, making it appropriate for finishing passes, light stock removal, and pre-weld or pre-coat surface conditioning.
This disc is suited for metal fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, and field service work where a consistent fine-grit finish is required on tight or contoured surfaces. The 2-inch diameter makes it practical for working in confined areas, around fasteners, and on tubing or pipe joints. Trade professionals including pipefitters, welders, ironworkers, and maintenance mechanics regularly use discs of this type for deburring, blending weld seams, and preparing surfaces before coating or inspection. The blue cloth backing provides flexibility to conform to curved workpieces without tearing under load.
Designed for use with Type R quick-change mandrels on angle grinders and die grinders accepting 2-inch accessories. Confirm mandrel compatibility and maximum RPM rating before mounting.
Mounting and disc changes should be performed with the grinder powered off and disconnected from its air or electrical supply. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and never exceed the 20,000 RPM rated speed. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves during installation and operation. Follow ANSI B7.1 safety requirements for the use, care, and protection of abrasive wheels as applicable to your work environment.
