The TRU-MAXX 66261114609 is a convolute deburring wheel designed for edge blending, surface conditioning, and burr removal on metal workpieces. Built with silicon carbide abrasive at a density of 9 and a density grade of Extra Hard, this wheel delivers consistent, aggressive deburring action. The fine grade abrasive makes it well suited for finishing passes where surface integrity matters. Rated at a maximum of 4,500 RPM, it is sized at 6 inches in diameter with a 1-inch face width and a 1-inch center hole. Machinists, tool room technicians, and metal fabricators install this wheel as part of a standard deburring and finishing operation.
This wheel is intended for use on bench grinders in industrial and shop environments. Its convolute construction — layers of abrasive-impregnated material wound around a core — provides a consistent cut rate as the wheel wears. It is compatible with mandrel and adapter sizes No. 3 and No. 5. Typical applications include deburring drilled or machined holes, blending edges on ferrous and non-ferrous components, and light surface conditioning prior to inspection or assembly.
Compatible with bench grinders using No. 3 or No. 5 mandrels or adapters. Designed for use with standard bench grinder tooling configurations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or shop technician. Power down and lock out the bench grinder before mounting or removing any abrasive wheel. Verify that the grinder spindle speed does not exceed the 4,500 RPM maximum rating marked on the wheel before operating. Inspect the wheel for damage before each use and follow applicable ANSI B7 safety standards for abrasive wheel mounting and operation.
