The TRU-MAXX 66261114590 is a convolute deburring wheel designed for use on bench grinders in metal fabrication and finishing applications. Built with silicon carbide abrasive at a fine grade and soft density grade (Density 7), this wheel removes burrs, scales, and sharp edges from workpiece surfaces without aggressive material removal. The 8-inch diameter and 1-inch face width make it well suited to standard bench grinder setups. Rated to a maximum of 3,400 RPM, it delivers consistent finishing performance across a range of metals and ferrous materials. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and fabricators typically install and use this wheel in production or job-shop environments.
This deburring wheel fits standard bench grinder arbors with a 3-inch center hole. Its convolute construction — layers of abrasive material wound around a core — provides even abrasive wear and a consistent cut rate throughout the wheel's life. The silicon carbide abrasive is well matched to non-ferrous metals, cast iron, and hard materials where a fine, controlled finish is required. It is appropriate for light deburring, edge blending, and surface conditioning tasks in both production and maintenance settings.
Designed for use on bench grinders. The 3-inch center hole and 8-inch diameter are standard dimensions for bench grinder arbor setups used in metalworking and fabrication environments.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator following the bench grinder manufacturer's mounting instructions. Always power down and unplug the grinder before mounting or removing a wheel. Confirm the grinder's rated RPM meets or exceeds the wheel's 3,400 RPM maximum before operation, and never run the wheel beyond its rated speed. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and ensure the arbor flanges are properly seated and tightened before starting the machine.
