The TRU-MAXX 66254443320 is a Type 27 zirconia alumina flap disc designed for aggressive material removal on steel and stainless steel. At 36 grit, this very coarse grade disc cuts quickly through weld seams, mill scale, and surface rust. The 4.5-inch disc mounts via a 7/8-inch arbor hole to standard right-angle grinders and is rated to 13,300 RPM. A poly-cotton backing supports the abrasive flaps during heavy lateral and flat grinding passes. This disc is part of the GP-Z series and is sold individually. Metal fabricators, welders, pipefitters, and maintenance techs are the primary users for this type of abrasive.

This flap disc is well suited for grinding and blending operations on carbon steel and stainless steel surfaces in fabrication shops, job sites, and maintenance facilities.
