The TRU-MAXX 66253292058 is a W200 cylinder-shaped mounted point designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface finishing on metal and hard materials. Built with aluminum oxide abrasive in a medium grade at 60 grit, this mounted point delivers consistent stock removal and controlled finishing in tight spaces and contoured surfaces. The 1/8 inch diameter shank mounts directly into standard die grinders, rotary tools, and flex-shaft machines. Rated to 50,930 RPM, it handles high-speed applications without compromise. Weighing just 0.02 pounds, it is a lightweight consumable suited for frequent tool changes on the shop floor or in the field.
This mounted point is used in metalworking, fabrication, tool and die, and maintenance repair operations where internal grinding or deburring is required. The cylinder W200 profile is well suited for working inside bores, slots, and cavities where flat or tapered profiles cannot reach. It is typically installed and used by machinists, tool and die makers, maintenance technicians, and metal fabricators working with steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous materials. The pink aluminum oxide construction provides good friability, allowing the abrasive to self-dress during use and maintain a consistent cut rate.
Designed for use with die grinders, rotary tools, and flex-shaft machines accepting a 1/8 inch shank. Suitable for grinding and deburring ferrous metals including steel and cast iron.
Mounted points are installed and changed by machinists and fabricators using standard collet wrenches on die grinders or rotary tools. Always confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 50,930 RPM rating marked for this point before operation. Secure the shank fully into the collet and inspect for runout before engaging the workpiece. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required when operating abrasive tooling per standard shop safety practices.
