The TRU-MAXX 66253291831 is an aluminum oxide mounted point designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface finishing on metal and ferrous materials. Shaped to the W144 cylinder profile, this mounted point measures 0.25 inches thick and mounts on a 0.125-inch diameter shank that is 1.5 inches long. At 60 grit with a medium grade, it removes material efficiently without excessive surface damage. With a maximum operating speed of 105,000 RPM, it is suited for high-speed rotary tools and die grinders used in fabrication, tool-and-die, and maintenance applications. Each unit weighs approximately 0.02 pounds.
This mounted point is used in metalworking environments where access to tight bores, cavities, or contoured surfaces is required. The cylinder W144 shape makes it well suited for flat-bottom grinding, port matching, and internal surface blending. It is a common consumable for machinists, tool grinders, and maintenance technicians working with die grinders or Dremel-style rotary tools. The 0.125-inch shank fits standard collets found on most pneumatic and electric die grinders.
Designed as an OEM-style consumable replacement for 0.125-inch shank mounted point applications in standard die grinders and high-speed rotary tools.
Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians using a standard die grinder with a matching 0.125-inch collet. Always ensure the tool is powered off and depressurized before changing mounted points. Do not exceed the rated maximum RPM of 105,000, and inspect the mounted point for cracks or chips before each use. Follow applicable ANSI B7 safety standards for abrasive wheel mounting and operation.
