The TRU-MAXX 66253291519 is an A11 pointed tree profile mounted point designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface blending in confined areas and contoured workpieces. Constructed from aluminum oxide abrasive bonded with a vitrified bond, this mounted point delivers consistent stock removal on ferrous metals, cast iron, and hardened steel. The 60-grit, medium-grade construction balances cut rate with surface finish quality. It mounts on a 1/4-inch diameter shank measuring 1.5 inches in length and is rated for a maximum of 25,420 RPM. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians use this type of point with die grinders and rotary tools for detailed internal grinding operations.
This mounted point is suited for applications requiring access to tight geometries, including port matching, mold finishing, weld cleanup, and burr removal on cast or machined components. The A11 pointed tree shape allows the tip and sides to contact curved or angled surfaces simultaneously, making it effective for chamfering, blending radii, and finishing bore entries. The vitrified bond provides a hard, rigid structure that maintains wheel form under consistent pressure, which is important when working to close tolerances in tool rooms or maintenance shops.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools equipped with a 1/4-inch collet. Suitable for grinding ferrous metals and hard materials where an A11 pointed tree profile is specified.
Mounted points must be installed by personnel familiar with abrasive tooling and rotary tool operation. Before mounting, verify that the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 25,420 RPM rating marked for this point. Inspect the abrasive head for cracks or chips before each use and discard any damaged points. Follow ANSI B7.1 safety standards for the use, care, and protection of abrasive wheels, including the use of appropriate eye and face protection during operation.
