The TRU AUDIO thin-ceiling-p is a shallow-mount, full-range in-ceiling speaker designed for installations where standard mounting depth is not available. It combines a 5-inch injected polypropylene woofer with a 1-inch soft silk dome tweeter in a total mounting depth of under 2.5 inches (60mm), backbox included. The unit ships with a pre-mounted ABS backbox suited for both shallow-cavity and solid-wall installations. A frameless ghost-style grill gives finished installations a clean, low-profile appearance. This speaker is installed by custom AV integrators and low-voltage technicians in residential and light commercial settings.

The thin-ceiling-p is intended for in-ceiling audio deployments where ceiling cavity depth is limited, such as concrete slab construction, drop-ceiling retrofits, or installations requiring conduit box mounting.
