The TRITAN R14 2RS PRX is a double-sealed, deep groove ball bearing designed for radial and light axial load applications in rotating machinery. Built to an ABEC-1 tolerance class with a steel cage and steel ball complement, this bearing operates on grease or oil lubrication and supports a static load capacity of 1,220 pounds at speeds up to 10,000 RPM. The double-seal closure retains lubricant and blocks contaminants, extending service intervals in moderately demanding environments. HVAC technicians, millwrights, and equipment service professionals install this bearing in motors, fans, pumps, and similar rotating assemblies.
This bearing is suited for residential and light commercial equipment where a standard R-series inch-bore bearing is specified. Typical installations include belt-drive fan assemblies, small electric motors, and pump shafts where a sealed, single-row deep groove design is appropriate. The round bore accommodates straight shaft mounting with standard retention hardware. No snap ring is included with this bearing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for R14-series deep groove ball bearings in rotating equipment requiring a double-sealed, single-row configuration with a round bore.
A licensed mechanic or qualified equipment technician should de-energize and lock out the equipment before removing or installing this bearing. Use a proper bearing press or driver to seat the bearing evenly on the shaft and into the housing bore - never strike the bearing directly with a hammer. Inspect the shaft and housing for wear or damage before installation, and verify that the replacement bearing number matches the original specification.
