The TRIPP LITE SRWF6U is a 6U wall mount cabinet designed to house and protect network equipment, patch panels, switches, and related hardware in space-constrained installations. Built for wall-mounted deployment, it keeps active networking gear organized and secured off the floor or desktop, reducing clutter and improving airflow management in the surrounding area. This type of enclosure is commonly specified by network installers, low-voltage contractors, and IT infrastructure technicians working in commercial, light industrial, and multi-unit residential environments where a full floor-standing rack is not practical.
The SRWF6U is suited for installations where rack space is limited to six rack units. Typical applications include small server closets, telecommunications rooms, retail back-office areas, and branch-office network deployments. It is designed to consolidate patch panels, small switches, routers, and cable management components into a single secured enclosure mounted directly to a wall stud or solid backing surface.
Designed as an OEM-style wall mount enclosure compatible with standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment up to 6U in height, as typically used in network and low-voltage infrastructure installations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or network contractor familiar with wall-mount enclosure practices. Mount to solid structural backing such as wall studs or a plywood backer board rated to support the combined weight of the enclosure and all installed equipment. Power down and disconnect all equipment before performing any work inside the cabinet. Local building and low-voltage cabling codes, including applicable NEC requirements, should be observed during installation.
