The TRIPP LITE PC2641-D-MTR is a 2U rackmount power distribution unit (PDU) with an Emergency Power Off (EPO) function, designed for 3-phase power distribution in enterprise and data center environments. It accepts input via an L21-30 twist-lock connector rated at 24 amps, making it suitable for high-density rack power applications. The EPO feature allows facility managers or data center technicians to immediately cut power to all connected equipment from a remote or local trigger point, a critical safety capability in managed server room and colocation deployments. Licensed electricians and data center infrastructure teams typically handle installation and commissioning.
This PDU is intended for rackmount installation in enterprise data centers, server rooms, network closets, and colocation facilities requiring 3-phase power distribution at the rack level. The 2U form factor fits standard 19-inch equipment racks. The L21-30 input connection and 24A rating support demanding load profiles typical of high-density compute and storage infrastructure. Facilities requiring EPO integration with building management or fire suppression systems will find this unit appropriate for that application.
Designed as an OEM-style rackmount PDU for enterprise data center racks and cabinets requiring 3-phase power distribution with EPO capability and an L21-30 input connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician familiar with 3-phase power distribution and applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the upstream circuit and verify absence of voltage before making input connections. The EPO circuit should be integrated according to the facility emergency shutdown plan and verified for correct operation before the unit is placed in service. Do not exceed the 24A input rating when calculating connected load.
