The TRIPP LITE N820-15M is a multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-speed data network installations requiring reliable 10Gb connectivity. Built to 50/125 OM3 fiber specifications, this cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over a 15-meter run length. It is used as a structured cabling component connecting switches, servers, patch panels, and fiber transceivers in data centers, enterprise networks, and industrial environments. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the primary installers for this type of cable.
This cable is suited for horizontal and backbone runs in commercial and enterprise network environments where 10GbE performance is required. The OM3 50/125 multimode fiber grade is a common standard in data center structured cabling, supporting high-bandwidth applications between network equipment in the same facility. At 15 meters, it is appropriate for inter-rack and cross-connect runs within a machine room or data center floor.
