The TRIPP LITE N201-015-BK is a Cat6 Ethernet patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network environments. Terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable provides a reliable copper connection between network switches, patch panels, routers, and end devices. At 15 feet in length, it suits mid-range runs within server racks, equipment closets, and workstation drops. The black jacket allows for easy cable management and color-coding in high-density installations. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors use this cable in both new construction and retrofit wiring projects.
This patch cable is suited for use in 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet applications. It fits standard structured cabling deployments in office buildings, data centers, and network closets. The Cat6 specification supports data rates up to 1 Gbps and is backward compatible with Cat5e infrastructure. It ships in a single-unit quantity and is ready to install out of the box with no termination required on either end.
Designed as a standard Cat6 RJ-45 patch cable compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e patch panels, network switches, routers, and other RJ-45 equipped network devices.
Installation is performed by low-voltage cabling technicians or qualified network installers. No tools are required for termination as both ends are factory-terminated. Route cables away from electrical conduit and high-voltage lines to minimize interference, following TIA-568 bend radius and separation guidelines. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing or bundling.
