The TRIDON 6736553 is a Series 67 all stainless steel hose clamp designed for secure, corrosion-resistant hose connections in plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical applications. The band, housing, and screw are all manufactured from 300 series stainless steel, providing consistent material performance throughout the assembly. The clamp spans a clamping range of 1-3/4 inches to 2-3/4 inches with a 1/2 inch wide band for broad, even clamping pressure. The 5/16 inch slotted hex head screw allows installation with either a flat-blade screwdriver or a hex socket driver. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this type of clamp in both above-ground and underground service conditions.
This clamp is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a fully stainless assembly is required to resist moisture, soil contact, and corrosive environments. The housing shield carries approval for underground use in accordance with the Uniform Plumbing Code, making it appropriate for buried pipe connections and below-grade mechanical penetrations. It is sold individually and commonly used in water service, drain connections, HVAC condensate lines, and similar fluid-handling assemblies where long-term clamp integrity is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install stainless hose clamp for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems requiring a 1-3/4 inch to 2-3/4 inch clamping range with full stainless construction.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or mechanical contractors following applicable IPC and UPC guidelines. Shut off water supply or system pressure before removing or installing hose clamps on live lines. Tighten the screw gradually and evenly to avoid cutting into hose material or distorting the band. Do not overtighten, as excessive torque can damage soft hose liners or collapse thin-wall tubing.
